1. The service

Modern Favicon is a free, browser-based tool that converts images, text, and emoji into favicon files. Processing happens locally in your browser; we never receive your images.

2. Your content, your icons

You keep all rights to the images you use and the favicons you generate. We claim no ownership of, and receive no copy of, your content. Generated favicons may be used for any purpose, including commercial projects, with no attribution required.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any image, font, or glyph you convert. Emoji artwork is owned by the respective platform vendors (Apple, Google, etc.) and its use in your products is subject to their licences. Do not use this site for unlawful purposes or attempt to disrupt its operation.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that generated files will render identically on every platform or browser.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or the files it generates.

6. Advertising

This site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. See our privacy policy for details on advertising cookies and your choices.

7. Changes

We may update these terms or change/discontinue the service at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
